OSHA 10-Hour Safety Training
Paragon Safety Group offers OSHA 10-Hour Safety Training courses to familiarize employers and employees with common workplace safety hazards and to provide an overview of OSHA and its regulations, as required by OSHA. Our OSHA 10-Hour Classes include the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Class and the OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Class.
Paragon’s OSHA-authorized outreach trainers teach this 10-hour course to groups of workers in a classroom setting, at our location or yours.

Who should take this course?
The course is designed to provide entry-level workers with a better understanding of construction or general industry safety and teaches recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. This course also provides information regarding workers’ rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.
What topics are covered in a 10-Hour OSHA safety training course?
The 10-hour safety training course defines and specifies appropriate, OSHA-regulated, responses to safety hazards in the workplace. The course is designed to make the employer and employee aware of common workplace safety hazards and prepare them with a safety-conscious response to any emergency situation.
Specific topics covered in this course include:
- Introduction to OSHA
- Focus Four hazards and preventative measures:
- Fall hazards
- Electrocution hazards
- Caught-in or Caught-between
- Struck-by
- Personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Health hazards in construction
- Materials handling, storage, and use
- Hand tools and power tools
- Leading cultural change
Each participant who successfully completes the course will receive an OSHA 10-Hour U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) course completion card.
