Recall of Fall Protection Equipment – Urgent!

Do you use fall protection equipment made by 3M or FallTech? If so, it’s time to check it, because you may need to take it out of service due to a recall. Don’t let anyone die because of these recalls – take a moment to see if your equipment is part of the recall NOW.

Self-Retracting Lifelines made by 3M have been recalled – specifically, their Twin-Leg Nano-Lok Edge (DBI-SALA) and Twin-leg Nano-Lok Wrap Back models. Press release from 3M is here, with the list of affected models in this pdf.

Also, all 9′ Cable DuraTech Leading Edge Personal Self-Retracting Lifelines (SRLs) made between Feb-May 2019 have ben recalled and must be removed from service. Full details from FallTech are here.
