This course describes the new OSHA 1926.1153 Respirable Crystalline Silica standard which took effect September 23, 2017. Offered in English and Spanish, this training will be delivered at a competent person level. It will include: the hazards associated with silica, what materials contain respirable silica, how to properly identify materials that contain silica, discuss the need and regulations associated with respiratory protection, and answer any questions you may have regarding the new silica standard.
